1/ Title: Head of Corporate Banking
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be responsible to ensure that the branch’s corporate bank business is optimally managed. This includes ensuring (1) revenue potential is realized in a cost effective, low risk manner through management of corporate relationships (2) maximum revenue potential of relationship officers is realized via effective coaching, training and communication.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate preferably with at least 10 years of relevant banking experience, preferably with at least 5 years at a senior managerial position in corporate banking within a highly rated international bank.
• Well-informed of the market competitive structure, industry practices and regulations for the corporate banking segment preferably with at least 3 years experience in the local/ regional environment and 3 years international banking experience.
• MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
2/ Title: Head of Operations
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for opening of the branch in a new country to the highest level of QNB service and quality. The incumbent will also manage all the operational aspect of QNB’s presence in the country according to QNB policies and procedures
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate in Business Administration with 15 years of relevant experience in the banking industry with special emphasis on Corporate, Trade and branch operations.
• MBA (preferred).
3/ Title: Manager Trade Operations
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will manage the Foreign Trade Operations (Import, Export Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Bills for collection) outline standards and manage one small team of operations staff to ensure high quality timely service to customers .
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate with at least 8 years relevant experience in Foreign Trade Operations (Import, Export Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Bills for collection).
• Technical knowledge of all the International Chamber of Commerce Rules, relating to Foreign Trade.
4/ Title: IT Supervisor
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be supporting QNB International Branch’s overall IT operations in coordination with the Head office and under their overall direction and guidance.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate in Computer Science or related degree with at least 4 years experience in systems operations/ data center environments within banking platforms.
• MCSE certificate (preferred)
5/ Title: Head of Financial Control & Admin
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will manage all aspects of Finance Control and Administration and provide support to the Country GM and International Banking in all areas of branch business including financial, regulatory . reporting and MIS
Education/Experience Requirements: • Bachelor/ Masters degree preferably in finance, accountancy or related subjects
• Minimum of 8 years experience with managerial capacity in the financial reporting function.
6/ Title: Head Teller
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent is mainly responsible for managing and training the team of tellers to deliver a full range of teller services to customers according to QNB processes, procedures and in an efficient, courteous and error-free manner.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University degree with a minimum of 3 years experience related to teller service in a major banking institution out of which 2 years should be in a similar role.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Well-informed of branch teller practices and regulations; with at least 2 years experience in local environment.
7/ Title: Clearing Officer
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for processing clearing and collections (inward/ outward), salary transfers, payment orders and post-dated cheques (PDCs) for the Bank’s customers including corporates governmental entities and individuals in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adhering to the approved policy/ procedures and regulations and related processes.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University degree.
• 2 years of bulk processing operations experience (clearing/ collections, salary transfers and PDC processing) or related experience in banking operations.
8/ Title: Officer Trade Finance
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will process Export / Import Letters of Credit, Guarantees and documentary collections in accordance with international rules and regulations in a way that supports the business units and ensures a good working relationship with the bank’s customers.
The incumbent will maintain high levels of customer service.whilst complying with the Group’s policies and procedures.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Export Letters of Credit & Foreign Trade Operations relating to guarantees.
9/ Title: Relationship Manager Corporate Banking
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be primarily responsible for managing on a day-to-day basis portfolios of existing and potential customers to meet assigned financial targets, ensuring that the Group’s risk criteria are maintained whilst providing good levels of customer service
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate, preferably in Finance.
• Ideal candidate should possess relevant relationship management experience built on sound credit background with minimum 3 years additional relevant banking experience.
10/ Title: Financial Control Officer
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will assist the Manager, Financial Control and Administration with all aspects of Financial Control and Administration issues of QNB’s Branch business.
Education/Experience Requirements: • Bachelor/ Masters degree preferably in finance, accountancy or related subjects
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and financial control, ideally gained within a similar organization.
11/ Title: Manager Compliance and Internal Control
Job Purpose Summary: To manage the compliance and internal control activities with the purpose of complying with the regulator and internal control requirements and identifying and resolving control gaps emanating from the business activities.
Education/Experience Requirements: • 6-8 years’ experience of control/audit procedures and knowledge of compliance in banking institution or regulatory agency preferably in compliance or internal audit function.
• Bachelor degree with professional qualifications such as CCO/CPA/CIA/CA.
12/ Title: Teller
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent is mainly responsible for providing a full range of teller services to customers according to QNB processes, procedures and in an efficient, courteous and error-free manner.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate with a minimum of 2 years experience related to teller service in a major banking institution.
13/ Title: Relationship Manager Trade
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will have the responsibility for Originating and executing Supply Chain, Trade FI transactions; Develop Supply Chain products; Proactively contribute to achieve QNB’s strategic Transaction Banking goals; Support the Transaction Banking product cross sell; Drive exceptional performance and work closely with relationship management to identify and execute large ticket trade business opportunities.
Education/Experience Requirements: • BA / MBA degree in Finance (preferred), with a minimum of 8 years experience in banking.
14/ Title: Customer Service Supervisor
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be primarily responsible for leading a team of customer service representatives in providing efficient, friendly and quality service to customers; answering queries, providing information and guiding customers through various banking procedures; marketing the Group’s products and services and encouraging customers to increase their business with the Group.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University graduate with a degree in Sales/ Marketing, with at least 5 years experience, of which at least 2 years as the head of a similar position.
• Well-informed of branch customer service practices and regulations.
15/ Title: Executive Secretary
Job Purpose Summary: To support the Branch Executives or his/her department in all secretarial and administrative matters.
Education/Experience Requirements: • Minimum education requirement of a professional certificate in Office Management.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience.
16/ Title: Customer Service Officer
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent is mainly responsible for providing efficient, friendly and quality service to customers; answering queries, providing information and guiding customers through various banking procedures; marketing the Group’s products and services and encouraging customers to increase their business with the Group.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University degree with a minimum of 2 years experience related to branch customer service in a major banking institution.
• Awareness of branch customer service practices and regulations.
17/ Title: Operations Officer Payments and Settlements
Job Purpose Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for processing back office payments and settlement activities in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adhering to the approved policy/ procedures/ rules and related processes.
Education/Experience Requirements: • University degree.
• 2 years of operations experience in payments and settlements.
